I started my design business in 1999. I had gone to school for design and had been working staging retail for many years. After working at elegant clutter from 1994 to 1999 staging their floor, I decided to go on my own. It has been a blessing for me, and something that was meant to be. I have established many long term relationships with many clients. I have worked on first and second homes with the same clients. I have watched the children of my clients grow into young adults.

I have a design studio in San Ramon where I have most of my resources. I have another business there where I rent space out to other designers and mentor those that are just getting started.

Five years ago a friend of mine was opening an outdoor patio store in Sonoma. They had a wonderful mix of unique indoor and outdoor pieces. She asked me to help stage the store and the rest is history! I have been splitting my time between Sonoma and San Ramon ever since. I have a second location at their shop on Broadway. I have worked with them on many projects with wineries and restaurants in the area. We have collaborated on a fabulous hotel job and have done some amazing work together. Most meaningful to me is the relationships I have established with clients in Sonoma on their homes. It's some of the best work I've done.

On a personal level I have been with my husband for 24 years. We have 5 children; his, mine and ours. We have 8 grandkids. We are members at Shelter Covenant Church in Concord. About a year ago my husband started a ministry called Bridge Ministry.
